"Favorite Moments" 2-Page Traditional Layout

This is a project I created a few months back using a fresh colored palette of papers and black and white photos.  The photos were captured during a college friend get together and features my cousin and my friend's son sharing some sweet moments while the little one played with an iphone.

Fun technique:
To obtain that fun scattered confetti look, I used a regular hole punch and kept the pieces that were punched out as the confetti.  To get the authentic scattered look I literally sprinkled a few of them in particular areas of the layout and then moved them about slightly to position them where they looked best.  Then I just took a small glue pen and adhered each one down in place.

Product List:
The Paper Studio (wood cardstock)
Authentique "Grace Collection" (cardstock)
Fancy Pants Designs "Park Bench" (cardstock and embellishments)
Crate Paper "Party Day Collection" (embellishment)
Little Yellow Bicycle (wood camera embellishment)
Creative Memories (paper flowers and mini title)
Tim Holtz (film strip negatives and mini staples)
Recollections (journaling spot and "polaroid" frames)
Martha Stewart (white scalloped border)

Salem, MA 2013 - Digital Layout

I've been working on my Year In Review 2013 and ended up with some layout creations that I just continue to stare at because I loveeee how they turned out (and because they are like eye candy to my imagination)! I wanted to share one of them here, from our annual trip to Salem, MA, to inspire some digital creativity...

Note: The positioning is slightly off center as this page is part of a 2-page layout.
Enjoy! :)

Baby Termeh's Mini Album - Traditional

I love mini-albums!  I mean, how cute are they?!  They're the perfect way to bring focus to your favorite photos and thoughts and are perfectly sized to place around your house for display.  I've based my craft business arounds these items specifically so as to let others give them as gifts, share with friends, or display their own mini adventures in a cost effective way that also saves time when you are in a rush for a great, yet unique, gift.

Recently, my cousin had her first little baby girl, Termeh, and since she lives overseas she doesn't have access to scrapbook supplies, albums, etc.  I wanted her to know how special her little angel is to our family and how much she means to me even though she is so far away and I haven't yet been able to meet her baby.  A mini-album seemed the perfect way to show her how much I care!

Below are some photos of the process and finished product of Termeh's mini album as well as a list of suppliers used in creating this mini-album.  I hope you enjoy and draw some inspiration from this sweet album!

Tim Holtz Experiment

I've known of Tim Holtz products for years.  His stuff is so unique compared to a lot of items in the scrapbooking market because the items are "grunge", "distressed"and "vintage" inspired (all things which I love).  Though I've had some of his ink pads for years, even with those I never realized how versatile and unique they are.  I became recently re-inspired by his products due to the heavily publicized CHA 2014 convention in January, many videos of which were released via youtube and popular scrapbooking websites.  I found myself watching his "how-to" videos and being wow-ed by his product line and amazing projects which resulted.  Needless to say, I went on a heavy shopping spree to stock up on some of his items - old and new.  As I'm typing this it sounds as if I'm a personal promoter for his line lol.  I guess I was just so excited to see all of the new ways I could use the products that I already owned and how some of his new products would enhance my current scrapbooking skills.

After the little shopping spree, I went up to my craft room (aka science lab) and took out all of his products to experiment with.  I started with a tag...and I LOVED how it came out!  It looks vintage and colorful and fun and didn't take very long to make at all!  Below is the before and after of my very first "experiment".  Following this tag's creation, I decided to create gift tags in mini-themes to sell on my Etsy website as well!  Love Love Love!

Merry Christmas!...?

I know, I know...it's definately a bit too soon to talk about Christmas.  And believe me I have no intentions of wishing away my favorite season (Autumn) too soon.  But I had a little bit of Christmas inspiration over the last week with my digital program and created a few digital layouts with past Christmas memories.

Enjoy!
